How connect cloud data storage to planfix?

  • Why did we need this?

Firstly, we wanted to increase the security of data storage. Cloud storage allows us not only to store data on remote servers but also to automatically back them up. In the event of data loss on one of the servers, we can easily restore them from a backup on another server.

Secondly, we wanted to simplify data work. Cloud storage allows us to automatically organize files into folders with the same name as tasks in Planfix. This makes the process of searching for and working with files fast and convenient.

  • How did we do it?

To integrate Planfix with cloud storage, we used Planfix's unique scenarios. Planfix communicates with the data storage service via API, creates a folder, and copies files there.

The feature of Planfix scenarios is that they are written without programming. This allows them to be quickly created and configured.

  • Result

After we connected cloud data storage to Planfix, we were able to significantly improve the security of our company's data storage. All files related to a specific task in Planfix are automatically saved to cloud storage and organized into corresponding folders with the same name as the task.

In addition, our company now has the ability to more reliably back up data, which is important for any business scale.
